Activities during the residency
Incorporating everyday items sold at supermarkets, JUJU creates objects like an item of fine art or craft, normally seen in museums. Using the packaging from confectionary sold at supermarkets in Fukuoka, she created an installation piece consisted of a children’s Yamakasa float and a series of photography works based on her research on the local Yamakasa Festival.
