Overview
The artist created a sound installation during her residency in Fukuoka, composed from bamboo tubes filled with the clay also used to make traditional Hakata-ningyo dolls, and inserted with brass and zinc rods. These were then connected to electricity, with the resulting vibrations amplified in ceramic vessels composed of the same clay.
