Since the 1990s, contemporary Asian art has become more visible as one of the mainstreams in the global art scene. This exhibition combines works from the collection by Miyatsu Daisuke, known as one of the top art collectors in Japan, and those from Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, presenting artworks by 45 participating artists from East and Southeast Asia. The exhibition catalog includes texts and images for all of the exhibited works, the collector Miyatsu Daisuke's opening essay, the assigned museum curators' essays, a list of works, etc.

In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, this large-scale collection exhibition provides an overview of 100 years of modern and contemporary Asian art, introducing each region's cultural characteristics, trends, and influences that are common to all of them. In addition to the assigned curator's opening essay, this volume contains nine columns by the museum's curators and 28 commentaries on art genres. It also includes a chronology of the museum's history, collection analysis, a timeline of Asian art, a list of works, etc.

This exhibition focuses on woodcuts (woodcut prints), which has played an essential role in Asia's modernization and is the first attempt to see woodcuts as a media calling for solidarity among people participating in political and social movements in various parts of Asia.

Being a complete document of Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale 2014 (FT5) held from 6 September to 20 November 2014 under the theme "Panorama of the NextWorld: Breaking Out into the Future," this exhibition catalogue covers all the exhibits by 46 Asian participating artists in FT5, including new works created for the FT5 residence_program programs in Fukuoka as well as the documents of all of the FT5 Artist-in-residence_program Programs and FT5 related-events.

Moreover, the book also covers the FT5 special section "New Era of Mongolian Painting," together with the essays and records on the field researches carried out all over Asia by FAAM curators for FT5.

100 selections representing the FAAM collection " masterpieces and important works are introduced with a bilingual (Japanese and English) description. With newly added artworks from Cambodia, Laos, Brunei, and Bhutan, this catalogue covers much wider areas in Asian art world.

Furthermore, a newly contributed essay by FAAM chief curator gives readers an insight about the changes of Asian art occurred from the FAAM's opening to present.

The fifth exhibition of "Arts and people" series focused on "Jian zhi" or the paper-cutout in China. Instead merely introducing its subjects, forms, and techniques, this exhibition delves deeper into the secret of the Jian zhi by focusing on the people's livelihood and the women, who created the paper-cutouts in the Huangtu Plateau, as well as provide much insight into a "field work" on the people's life and exchanged between researchers and the locals. 160 pages B/W and color plates, with supplement booklet of cutout

Bringing together about 120 art works, such as paintings, photographs, video works, installations created by Asian women artists who have been active since the 1980s, the exhibition provided an overview of historical transition of perspectives and various expressions of these artists. The exhibition focused on a new trend of contemporary Chinese art inspired by traditional Chinese paintings and showed works created by 19 emerging and mid-career artists.

The exhibition focused on eight Burmese artists from "Gangaw Village Art Group (1979-)," which is the first Burmese contemporary artist collective and the history of their activities for exploring free expressions. 48 pages, in full color.

Enthralled with India: such were the artists whose works were featured, and the collectors whose archive pieces were shown at this exhibition. Solo exhibition of Long Chinsan (1892-1995), a photographer who worked mainly in Shanghai and Taipei. He is known for composite photography, in which he printed separately shot landscapes, people and still-lifes etc. in a print, as development of Chinese traditional paintings in modern media.

This catalogue documents the Art Exchange Program of the "4th Fukuoka Asian Art Museum"冱 Triennale" that was held from September 5,2009 to November 23, 2009.
The 80 page catalogue (with 64 color pages and 16 monochrome pages) includes the artists works, the excitement of the events, the "忻oices" of the staff, as well as works that could not be published in the exhibition catalogue.

This was the exhibition commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Municipal Partnership between Fukuoka and Busan as well as their Friendship Year. The exhibition presented 76 works selected from 1800 works of the Busan Museum of Art collection, surveying Korean art from the 1940s to the present. The catalogue also includes history of art exchange between Fukuoka and Busan. The 128 page catalogue includes 96 color plates.

This exhibition presented 81 works selected from 500 award-winning works of the 11th Chinese National Art Exhibition in 2009, held every five years in China. The 120 page catalogue includes 90 color plates.

Paubha is a painting that depicts Buddhist and Hindu gods and mandala produced by artists of the Newar, the indigenous people in Nepal. This exhibition presented the world of contemporary Paubha paintings with 51 works by 31 artists. The artists attempt to create a new kind of Paubha painting by adopting other methods such as Western chiaroscuro and oil technique.

Under the theme "LIVE and LET LIVE: Creators of Tomorrow", contemporary art works by 43 artists/groups from 21 counties/regions were exhibited. The exhibition catalogue (224 pages) includes essays by the museum curators and commemorative pages of the 10th anniversary of the museum as well as color plates of the exhibits, artist biographies and "Artists" words" on their own works.

Company Paintings played an important role in the dawn of Modern Indian Art. This 48 page catalogue (with 32 color plates) includes paintings and photographs from the collections of the New Delhi National Gallery of Modern Art and the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum.

The exhibition introduced art in Taiwan during the Japanese occupation. 25 paintings introduce how Taiwanese painters and Japanese painters in Taiwan worked in colonial Taiwan.
