Activities during the residency
During her residency, Lu Yang collaborated with a biologist, acoustic expert and sculptor to create the experimental video work, Revival! Underwater Zombie Frog Ballet, showing frogs appearing to dance underwater to the sound of music. She also held two workshops in which participants made accessories using LED lights.

Talk and panel discussion
On November 7, the artist held a panel discussion with Year 3 students from Kasugakita Junior High School, speaking on the themes of nature and science.

Regional events
October 22 – The artist projected a computer-generated visual artwork onto the facade of Fukuoka’s Hotel Okura, as part of the annual ‘Hakata Riverain Lantern Festival’ held each fall in the Hazara Riverain precinct (location: Okura Hotel facade)
