Profile
Md Fazla Rabbi Fatiq is a visual artist based in Bangladesh.
Through his photographic practice, Fatiq explores politics, development, corruption, neglect, and Bengal’s marginal histories. His photographs are immersed in stillness and emptiness, where incompletion and uncertainty linger. Through objects, structures, and traces, they evoke a quiet tension—melancholic, curious, and often abstract.
In Fukuoka, Fatiq will explore the overlooked and the residual—traces that exist on the margins of use, memory, and survival. Through quiet observation, the project will reflect on what remains unspoken or cast aside, revealing subtle tensions between need, value, and the structures that shape everyday endurance.
