We are delighted to announce the opening of the exhibition for the two emerging artists, Phuttiphong Aroonpheng (Thailand) and Kim Ilgeun (Korea), who work actively both domestically and internationally.
The two have been staying in Fukuoka since May to participate in the artist in residence program at Fukuoka Asian Art Museum. Through various engagements in activities such as the workshops conducted with the citizens, they have developed new artworks reflecting their experience in Fukuoka as well as the social environments and reality of contemporary times in Asia.
We look forward to welcoming all to see the outcome of their residency.
