From nude to distorted human figures, exaggerated organs, or female bodies regarded as the reproductive system, the body representation reflects the artists’ unique intention or social contexts, such as gender-related issues. This exhibition attempts to look into Asian modern and contemporary art by focusing on body representation in different forms of art, including painting, photography, sculpture, and installation.
