これまでの活動と、福岡での予定について

Jan Mayo is a Filipino photographer whose works explores portraiture, identity, and the relationship between people and nature. His work spans commercial photography and museum based projects at the National Museum of the Philippines, the University of Tokyo's Intermediatheque, and the Koishikawa Botanical Garden. His work examines photography as a tool for cultural exchange.

During his FAAM Residency, he will research about migrant workers in Fukuoka and explore how photography can document migration and identity. The residency will contribute to the development of a new body of work that continues his interest in cultural exchange.
