Asian Art Walk South Asia
- Period
- Sep 19, 2026 〜 Jan 11, 2027
- Venue
Asia Gallery, Exhibition Gallery
This is the second exhibition in the Asian Art Walk series, presenting works of Asian art divided by groups of regions. As a special show focused on South Asia, it features FAAM collections from seven countries in the region (India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives), where the entire space of the museum, including two galleries and open areas, will showcase contemporary art of South Asia.
The first section features large-scale installations from the 2000s among the FAAM collection, along with recent or new pieces by the same artists and an introduction to their latest practices. Almost 100 works, including paintings, sculptures, prints, photography, and posters, will be displayed in the second section.
As they join a walking tour of art exploring South Asia, visitors are invited to step further into deep encounters in the world.
