Documentation of Chinese Avant-Garde Art in 90s

Curated by the invited researcher in residence Feng Boyi, the exhibition presents the outcome of Boyi’s research in Fukuoka.
Focusing on the 1990s, when the local art scene witnessed unlimited strive of contemporary artists in China, the show addresses current situation and surrounding issues, as well as expectations for art and artists in China towards the upcoming 21st Century.
