Overview
A participant in the exchange program during the 3rd Fukuoka Asian Art Triennale (FT3), Chakkrit stayed throughout the Triennale period. He used various recycled materials, including the skin of Japanese bamboo, to create items of clothing. Chakkrit exhibited his work at the event ‘C.H.C.H. Company Made In Fukuoka Project 2005’, an initiative of the fashion show ‘8th Fukuoka Fashion Live ’05’.
Key activities
September 22 – Mobile-making workshop with 20 third-year students of Fukuoka City Nagahama Middle School.
October 7 – Talk with 98 pupils from Fukuoka City Arita Elementary School, introducing them to life in Thailand.
October 21 – Workshop with 32 Year 2 pupils from Fukuoka Municipal Minami Toujin Elementary School, ‘Hanging Out With Chakkrit’.
November 14 – Participation in the ‘8th Fukuoka Asia Collection 2006 Spring/Summer’ fashion show (sponsored by the Fukuoka Prefecture Beauty and Sanitation Industry Association), in which Chakkrit showed 30 items of clothing.
