In March 2019, Fukuoka Art Museum will finally be re-opened. For celebrating its renewal opening, we also introduce a selected contemporary Asian art that makes us feel the embryonic movements of the future. Starting from Aisha Khalid’s “Birth of Venus” that draws out the existence of women in Islamic society, the exhibition introduces a series of works based on key themes including “birth,” “transformation,” “future,” and “dawn.”
