Modern and Contemporary Art in Asia -1

This exhibition features representative works in our museum collection that tell the story of postmodern art and the striking presence of contemporary art from the East, Southeast, and Southwest Asian regions. A special section titled “Pioneers of Chinese Contemporary Art” displays works of artists who left innovative achievements in avant-garde and experimental practice in the Chinese art scene, which underwent rapid growth and versatile developments since the 1980s.
