Within the context of Abstract Expressionism in the United States, which left a major global impact on post-war contemporary art, the artists featured in this exhibition aimed to combine the beauty of the Oriental and Occidental worlds, utilizing traditional painting techniques in East Asia. Curated by the Zimmerli Art Museum (US), this international touring show brings together more than 100 works including paintings, sculptures, and prints.
