A Walk in the Forest of Asian Tales
- Period
- Jun 21, 2007 〜 Sep 4, 2007
- Venue
Asia Gallery B
From myths, folklores, and fairy tales inherited across Asia, to contemporary stories of laughter and tears in the region, the exhibition brings together 37 artworks that tell of stories disclosed in paintings or sculptures. Booklets with brief summaries of the stories in each artwork, picture books, and coloring sheets were distributed at the venue. Moreover, volunteers will hold story-telling (kami-shibai) reading sessions. Through this, we hope the visitors enjoy spending time at the gallery.
