Room for FAAM Residence Program

This newly set-up room in the Asia Gallery introduces “Now” and “Past” of the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum’s Residence Program. We are planning to change the display a few times a year for introducing the activities of artists and researchers staying in FAAM this year and displaying the newly acquired works created in Fukuoka by our resident artists.

In the first exhibition of the series, we introduce the work by Hsia Aihua (Taiwan) from the 2008 program, Funkografik (Maldives), Chung Ling Jolene Mok (Hong Kong), and JUJU U (Korea) from the 2015 program, and Chok Yue Zan (Malaysia) from 2016 program.
