Enchanting Winter Museum
In The Foreign Sky: Japanese Artists and Asia

What did the Japanese artists living in Asia during before and after the war find in their foreign lands? How did they seek to depict their findings in their works? The 4th series of “Enchanting Winter Museum,” a joint exhibition of Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, Fukuoka Art Museum, and Fukuoka City Museum with a special focus on the collection of Fukuoka Art Museum introduces the artworks created by the Japanese artists in Asia including Mori Kinsen who moved to Indonesia.
