Journey of Forms - Anish Kapoor and Indian Art
■Period:02 January, 2017 - 09 May, 2017
■Venue:Asia Gallery A
Being commissioned as a permanent artwork for London's Olympic Park (completed in 2012), Anish Kapoor, an Indian-born sculptor, has achieved remarkable success lately. His sharp concept and artistic creativity bring the audience to an abyss of her/his consciousness. Along with Kapoor's earlier work and drawings from the Fukuoka Art Museum collection, the exhibition introduces religious art in India, a source of Kapoor's imagination, and abstract forms that correspond to such religious influences.
