A Grain of Hope: Who Owns the Land?
■Period:20 August, 2015 - 15 December, 2015
■Venue:Asia Gallery A
The rich Asian soil has fostered life and traditional culture of many peoples for centuries. But many ancient ties to the land altered after the 16th century, with the spread of Western colonialism and the rise of large-scale land development.

With a focus on woodcuts of Taring Padi, an Indonesian artist community founded in 1998, this exhibition showcases artworks with a strong social message, exploring the issues that surround people and their land exposed to the globalization.
