It is a typical Buddhism altar used in Bhutanese houses. It is made of wood that is sophisticatedly engraved and coloured. Offered to the altar is Torma, butter sculpture, one of the most popular offerings in Bhutan. The Torma made in FAAM by Lopen Tashi Penjor, a master of Torma-making. Lopen Tashi stayed at FAAM for the Residence Program for one month from 3 June 2002.
