Manipulating the techniques of inkjet printing and transparent media, the artist makes painting of plants superimposed as many layers. Such paintings suggest the potential of multi-layered society and the painting itself. He also makes “Cassette Plant”, for which he uses transparent cassette cases that contain plants. Thousands of cassette cases installed on the glass wall of the museum will make a forest.

The artist came to be known to the world after she showed her work in the Yokohama Triennale. In FT3, she presents a huge installation in a shape of a house which consists of window frames collected in the old houses in former East Berlin. The windows represent the memories of the city and people who once lived there. They also function as the windows that indicate the path towards a new world.
